We are excited to launch this year's auction! Please use the link to access site:
Last year this proved to be huge fun with lots of bidding wars!
We are sure that you will all agree that our 2015 Christmas Fair was a huge success. The children all had a wonderful time and we took over £4,500! We the PTA wish to thank all of our little and big helpers because without your help the fair would not have been possible. Special thanks to participating teachers and teaching assistants.
Special thanks also go to our sponsors who generously donated items, funds and time to our raffle and silent auction.
We are pleased to announce the following winners:
Come and pick up your prize from the PTA table at school drop off time.
We wish to say a huge Thank You to all of the children who created the most beautiful and amazing jars - such imagination and talent! Just a few jars are still available to buy from the PTA on Friday after school.
It was almost impossible to chose winners as all of the jars were so incredible. However, 1 jar in particular stood and we have decided to award Alessandro in Y6 as the winner, and to put this jar in to the silent auction, which goes live shortly (more info below). You can see the jar on the silent auction. All children are going to be rewarded for their hard work.
The Numberworks sweet jar competition was won by India Holness in year 6 with the closest guess of 160. The actual number was 158.
The winter fair is just around the corner and we are in desperate need of volunteers. Can you please dedicate some time during the fair and the few days before to help in particular with the following:
Thank you very much for the many donations of bags in relation to the school child refugee appeal. The response has been tremendous so much so that the school needs to raise further funds to enable it to ship the donations to the children overseas.
The PTA is therefore helping to raise funds by organising a cake and book sale next Thursday Oct 22nd at the school entrance from 3pm. We therefore need your help with:
Please drop off your books into the marked boxes at the school entrance starting tomorrow and your cakes on the morning of the 22nd at drop off or just before 3pm.
Can any volunteers please let us know via firstname.lastname@example.org or your class rep.
It's that time of the year again and I'm writing to you to ask for your support with the following two forthcoming events:
In preparation for these events there will be a meeting next Tuesday Oct 20th at 9am in the school meeting room (entered via reception).
This year we are keen that every class gets involved, so please do come along and support us!
