Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club at WIX is a highly successful, popular morning club for all children who attend the school. It is run by the Supervisor, Miss T Murray assisted by Miss J Shepherd and Mrs K Tunesi.

The club starts at 7.30am, finishing at 8.55am in line with the time schools starts. Originally intended to help working families with their working situation, it has now become a popular club in its own right, often attracting children who wish to take part in the varied morning activities. Activities range from physical activities, such as dodge ball, to creative art activities, to board games. Children can choose which activity they would like to do.

Costs for the Breakfast Club compare well with other local schools: between 7.30am and 8.15am a healthy breakfast is served which costs £3.00 per child, £1.50 for siblings and those who are entitled to free school meals.

From 8.15am to 8.55am breakfast is no longer served and the cost of joining the breakfast club at this time is reduced to £1.00 per child.

If you would like your child to attend the Breakfast Club for some or all of the week please contact admin@wix.wandsworth.sch.uk

Please note that from September 2016, the Breakfast Club will no longer be providing the drop-in provision. Please read the Headteacher's letter for more information.

Please apply for Breakfast Club using the online application form.

Where Kids'City Works

We have schemes based in Lambeth and Wandsworth. We provide educational and recreational opportunities for all young children, so that they may mature into confident members of society.

Who Works For Kids'City

We employ approximately 80 staff, 8 full time and the remainder part time and utilise over 100 volunteers. All our staff have current police checks, and centre staff are all trained and qualified in play work. All staff and volunteers have access to the fully accredited training programmes.

How Is Kids'City Financed

Keeping the price affordable to families, providing subsidised places and free places for those who need them, we charge fees for attendance, but these only make up less than half the cost of running each scheme. The rest of the funds we need to keep our organisation running come from local authority grants, and a constant fundraising effort to gain support from charitable trusts and the like.

Visit the Kids'City website for further information.
